John provides all fishing gear, non-alcoholic drinks, and transportation is included for up to 4, all beach access, and pick up and drop off.

It’s important to purchase a fishing license and bring it on the trip. See link here. Other items to bring with you: polarized sunglasses (to protect your eyes from hooks), a sunhat, water shoes/sandals. Depending on the weather, please bring a raincoat. We fish in most weather conditions. A headlamp or flashlight is handy for evening shark fishing. Johnny-C has extra, if needed.

Johnny-C Guiding is an onshore adventure. We do not fish from a boat and a boat is not included in any adventures. We will have an amazing experience surfcasting from the shore!

Yes, you can bring your own equipment or we will provide the gear if you do not have it.

We’d love for you to discover new fishing spots. John will first ask for the locations where you have fished. From there, he will give the best recommendations for your adventure based on the tides and other natural elements.

We will definitely aim to catch fish. Learning, fun and sandy beaches are guaranteed.

Yes, you are welcome to take home a legal-size catch. And Johnny-C is happy to filet the fish for you.  We will teach you how to catch and release a fish safely, too.
